Timeswitch: Size Comparison Between Sangamo S250 & S355.2.11 E Time Switches
Here we go, peoples! This is a size comparison video between a standard Sangamo S250, and the earlier, -now discontinued- spring-reserve equipped S355.2.11 E type timeswitch.

This video shows how much more chunky the S355.2.11 mechanially backed-up timeswitches were, in comparison to the modern-day S250 and Q550 clocks.
Although the Synchro-powered and quartz-powered S250s do not have any form of power cut backup in them, the Q550 range does, and that is a small rechargeable, permanently-soldered battery.
The modern S250 and Q550 clocks are the same size as each other, but not all of the clocks in the Sangamo range were the smaller size: The mechanically backed-up S355 clocks had to have an "extra-layer" of mechanical workings, so-to-speak in order to accommodate the spring reserve drum, and it's related gearworks.
Due to this, these S355 clocks do have a greater 'from-wall-protrusion' because of the extra layer of mechanical workings in them.
This video examines how much bigger these mechanically backed-up timeswitches are, in comparison to the smaller S250, and the electrically backed-up Q550 clocks.
I hope that you enjoy, peoples.
